“Total Dance” has sixteen tracks that easily equate to oblivion today - beginning with a dose of Vanilla Ice’ “Ice Ice Baby”, MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This” and Smith’s “Getting Jiggy With it”, and moving on to Shaggy’s “Oh Carolina” and the Vengaboys’ “We Like To Party”. It also includes a few representatives of the Latin beat, including “Y-Tu-Conga” by Gloria Estefan and “Oyo Como Va” by Santana. The Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child close out the album.
Since most of these tracks are fairly old, there isn’t much point in shelling out good money for this album…especially since most of them are available in better-packaged compilation. Miss out on this one, unless you really need a dance fix!
